Voice Input
Click the mic. Start talking. Subscribr writes it down. There's now a microphone button in both the chat bar and the planning questions textarea — tap it, speak your thoughts, and text appears in real time as you talk. The button turns red while recording; click it again to stop. Text is transcribed as spoken — no punctuation added. The AI will understand it. Works in Chrome, Safari, and Edge; Firefox isn't supported yet.

Use Subscribr Inside Claude & ChatGPT
Subscribr now works directly inside Claude and ChatGPT via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Connect your Subscribr account and access your channels, videos, scripts, ideas, bookmarks, and Intel research — all without leaving your AI chat. You can browse your video library, look up any YouTube channel or video, generate new ideas, save bookmarks, and search Intel for outlier videos, right from your conversation. Results include interactive visual cards for Intel searches and script previews. Available on all plans, with Intel tools on Automation and Scale. GPT-5.4 Model Added
GPT-5.4, OpenAI's newest model, is now available as a draft writing model in Subscribr. You can select it from your channel settings under Draft Writing Model. Available on all plans.

Script Regeneration Credits & Limits
Canvas script regeneration now includes **3 free full regenerations per script** (shared across Regenerate Script and Humanize). After free regenerations are used, you can unlock additional regeneration batches with credits directly in-app.
Idea-to-Script Credit Charging Fix
Creating a script from an idea no longer charges credits up front. Credits are now charged at the correct time: when you actually generate script content on the canvas.
Plan Mode Header Refresh
The Plan (outline) step now uses a cleaner top action bar aligned with Script mode, including compact stats and actions for clearer flow between outlining and scripting.
Canvas Mode Switching & Toolbar Reliability
Resolved intermittent issues where Plan/Script tabs could get stuck and where toolbar controls (like version arrows and export/share) sometimes disappeared after first generation. These controls now reliably stay in sync without requiring a full page refresh.

5 New Script Templates
Five new templates are now available in the script canvas: - **Listicle** — Built for numbered list videos. Handles per-item pacing, transitions, and retention mechanics so the middle of your video doesn't sag. - **Essay** — For opinion and analysis videos. Structures your argument around a single clear thesis with supporting evidence and a counterargument section. - **News** — Inverted-pyramid reporting for breaking and developing stories. Leads with the facts that matter most, then layers in context and analysis. - **Experiment** — For "what happens if..." videos. Question-first structure that documents the process and builds toward a data reveal. - **Challenge** — Goal-first structure with explicit rules, stakes, and a clear outcome reveal. Works for any "can I do X in Y?" format.
Documentary Template Update
The Documentary template has been rewritten around a cleaner three-act structure for true stories, investigations, and transformation narratives. The new version focuses on tension-driven scene building, a proper cold open, and a clear arc from setup through crisis to resolution — less prescriptive, more focused on narrative momentum.

Channel Voice V3 & Humanize
Big upgrade to how Subscribr understands and applies your voice to scripts. The voice system now analyzes 10 of your videos (up from 5) — pulling from both your most popular and most recent content — and translates your voice profile into natural-language style instructions that the AI can actually follow. Things like your speaking cadence, vocabulary preferences, rhetorical patterns, and personality are now described in plain language instead of raw data. The voice editor has also been expanded with detailed controls for every dimension of your voice: archetype, stance, delivery style, thinking patterns, phrase preferences, and more. The result is scripts that sound noticeably more like you. To take advantage of the new voice profiles, you'll need to create a new voice. Head to your channel page, go to Settings → Voice, and add a new voice. You can train it on your own YouTube channel, another creator's channel, or provide your own writing samples. Once it's generated, set it as your default voice or select it in the script canvas before generating. [Learn more about Channel Voice](/help/getting-started/channel-voice). There's also a new Humanize button in the script canvas. After generating a script, click Humanize to run a rewriting pass that strips common AI writing patterns — the inflated language, the overused transitions, the generic verbs — and replaces them with natural, spoken-word writing. It targets a 6th-7th grade reading level, combines choppy sentences into flowing ones, and preserves your voice profile throughout. It also optimizes scripts for AI voiceover generation. You'll see the changes stream in section by section.

Video Ideas
You know the best way to find video ideas that actually have a chance of performing: study outlier videos, reverse-engineer what made them work, and adapt the hook to your own channel. The problem is that research takes hours. Video Ideas does it for you — scanning 100,000+ channels, identifying outlier videos (2x–10x+ above average), and generating ideas based on proven hooks and title structures. Each idea comes with the source video, outlier score, psychological hook breakdown, and a suggested script length. When you're ready, one click turns any idea into a script project in Canvas with all the context pre-loaded. Manage your ideas in grid, table, or kanban views. Generate title variations with different psychological hooks. Use Change Topic to keep a proven format but point it at a different subject. Your first 10 ideas are generated automatically when you set up a channel.

MiniMax M2.5 Support & Improved Model Routing
MiniMax M2.5 is now available for script drafts, giving you another powerful option for AI-generated content. We've also improved the provider routing for Kimi K2.5 and DeepSeek V3.2—both models now use optimized provider fallbacks that make them faster and more reliable. When one provider is busy or slow, the system automatically routes to the next best option.

Subscribr API
Build complete content pipelines with Subscribr handling the creative work—research, ideation, and scripting. The API covers Intel (competitor research, video transcripts, search), Ideas (generate video ideas programmatically), Scripts (outlines, full scripts, export), and Webhooks (chain steps together so each triggers the next). Pipe the output to your video generator and publish. Works with Make, n8n, Zapier, or build your own integration. Available on Automation and Scale plans. Docs at subscribr.ai/youtube-api.

Educational & Fictional Story Templates Refined
Bryan refined our Educational and Fictional Story templates based on what's working for viral creators. The Educational template now has cleaner psychological engagement patterns—think WHY-WHAT-HOW-WHAT IF structure, better open loops, and more effective pattern interrupts. The Fictional Story template adds a "Five-Line Story Core" pre-writing step, dual promise hooks, sensory writing guidance, and improved tension management with survival counters. If you're using these templates, your scripts should feel sharper. If you've cloned them, consider checking out the new versions.

Kanban View for Scripts Dashboard
See your entire production pipeline at a glance. The scripts dashboard now includes a kanban board where you can drag and drop scripts between stages: Planning, Scripting, Recording, Editing, and Published. It's the fastest way to track where each script is in your workflow and move things forward.
Channel Pages Visual Refresh
All channel pages—Audience, Research, Templates, Voice, and Scripts—have been redesigned with a consistent, polished look. Cleaner layouts, better dark mode support, and contextual help links throughout. The whole channel experience feels more cohesive now.

Channel Memory
Subscribr now remembers your preferences, style, and context across all conversations. No more re-explaining that you prefer direct language or always want a hook in the first 30 seconds. The AI automatically learns from your chats and applies that knowledge to every script. You can view, edit, and manage your memories in Channel Settings.
Educational Template with Psychological Engagement
We've enhanced the educational template to include advanced psychological engagement techniques like pattern interrupts, curiosity gaps, and strategic callbacks. This helps keep viewers engaged throughout your educational content.
