You keep your plan for life. Same features. Same monthly credits. No new charge, ever.
The old subscription plans are retired. Creator, Automation and Scale are no longer sold. Your AppSumo plan matches one of them, and it stays active for you.
The new plans are a different, bigger product. Growth, Pro and Max cost more and add AI video generation. Making video has a real cost for every minute produced, so it is sold separately rather than included in the older plans.
You can still make videos. Buy video credits inside the app whenever you want one. You do not need a subscription, and your first video is half price.
What each tier includes
Every tier refreshes its script credits each month for as long as your licence is active.

The three kinds of credits
They are separate. Using one never uses another.
Script credits
Used when you generate a script. A short script costs 1 credit. A 10-minute script costs 5.
- Refresh every 30 days from your activation date.
- Expire after 60 days, so you always have two months to use them.
- Chat, research, outlines and edits are free. They cost no credits.
Need more? Buy extra credits from Billing. They never expire while your licence is active.
Thumbnail credits
A separate monthly allowance for Thumbnail Studio. One credit covers one action.
- Brainstorm gives you 4 concepts for 1 credit.
- Clone / Remix and Edit / Improve each cost 1 credit.
- Tiers 1 and 2 include none. Tier 3 and above include a monthly allowance.

Video credits
Used when Subscribr makes a finished video from your script. One credit is one minute.
- Not included in any AppSumo tier.
- Your first video is half price: $5 for 5 minutes, or $10 for 10 minutes.
- After that, buy packs from $20. Bought credits do not expire.
No subscription needed. Buying video credits turns video on for your account and keeps your AppSumo plan as it is.
Managing your licence
Change your tier
Open your AppSumo Products page, find Subscribr, then choose "Change Plan". Refunds during the guarantee period start there too.
Check what you have left
Your current balances are in Billing inside the app. Buy more of any credit type from the same place.
Common questions
Are the new video generation plans available on AppSumo?
No — this campaign is not on AppSumo, and it likely will not be: it’s impossible to offer a lifetime deal for a video generation service. Your AppSumo license keeps everything it came with, and you can add video credits any time without a subscription.
Do I need to buy a plan now that Growth, Pro and Max exist?
No. Nothing about your license changes, and nothing you have today is taken away or moved behind a subscription. A plan is only worth considering if you would rather have a monthly video allowance than buy video credits as you need them.
